Mmmmm Bacon! What a great idea! I will try that next year! I'm sure it was good. would your better half be from the east coast as well? Only a newfie or a facilmile there of would put bacon on their turkey! Maybe instead of bread I'll use the Purity Hard Biscuits (Brews) and stuff the bird with that. Thanks for sharing that video.

No, sir, she's a Northern Ontario girl. I did live with a newf for a while, and she also cooked up some good grub, but nothing as simultaneously healthy and delicious as what Amanda does.
The maple-bacon-turkey recipe was presented in the most recent version of the Compliments (Sobeys) version of the Insider Report. It actually called for maple bacon, an apple stuffing, and chili powder on the bird. All we did different than usual was wrap the beast in bacon and wipe some maple syrup on it toward the end.
