Our traffic reporter just ran in with exciting news from the infernet ... PerezHilton.com reports that Tom and Kate have split:Multiple insiders confirmed the story to Life & Style, with one longtime friend of Tom's saying: "Their relationship is basically over." Another friend adds: "They both agreed that the marriage wouldn't work and they wanted to end it before they learned to hate each other."
Questions remain ... what's going to happen to the little rondroid Ms. Holmes has been carrying? And will the 'ologists let her leave the relationship so easily?

What will happen to the baby? He/she will be cared for by some nameless nanny and occasionally toted around by momsy for the odd photo op. Basically the same thing that happens to every celebrity child. All the news when they are carrying them, ne'er seen again post birth.
